Aaron Greenberg est du genre à prendre les choses en main et à résoudre les problèmes. Cet ambitieux stagiaire de 23 ans s'est habilement immiscé dans le job de ses rêves juste à temps pour se voir confier la mission qui pourrait bien déterminer tout son avenir professionnel : il doit se rendre à Londres et ramener un des dieux du rock au Greek Theatre de Los Angeles, à temps pour le concert de lancement d'une tournée au budget astronomique. Une seule mise en garde : s'il le quitte du regard, c'est à ses risques et périls.Le rocker anglais Aldous Snow est un musicien de génie et un amant insatiable. Blasé par les hordes de béni-oui-oui et les monceaux d'argent qui l'entourent, cet ancien leader d'un groupe de rock légendaire est à la recherche du sens de la vie. Mais ça ne veut pas dire qu'il ne doit pas faire quelques orgies en attendant de le trouver. Quand il apprend que l'amour de sa vie est en Californie, Aldous se donne pour but de la reconquérir... juste avant de reprendre sa place au sommet de la scène rock mondiale.Alors que démarre le compte à rebours jusqu'au concert, Aaron Greenberg se retrouve contraint de naviguer entre le réseau des trafiquants de drogue londoniens, les embrouilles new-yorkaises et les strip-teaseuses de Las Vegas, pour livrer son colis en temps et en heure et à peu près sain et sauf. Aaron va devoir embobiner, tromper, arranger et amadouer Aldous, mais il le ramènera au Greek Theater !
